Jah-Vanna tells us about her time at Te Whare Nukunoa, she tells us about how much progress she has made while being in the whare, how much help she received from our Social Workers and some of the unique experiences she had along the way.
After a few months with us, Jah-Vanna was successfully transitioned from our whare to Gianna's Choice Pregnancy Options and Support, which is a wonderful place specifically set up to support pregnant wāhine with nowhere to go.
Their experienced staff provided support and advocacy throughout pregnancy and offer continued assistance after birth for as long as needed.
Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to fully fund Jah-Vanna's journey from Wellington to Auckland, as well as provide assistance with clothing and essentials
We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both!
