noho wānanga
Recently Te Whare Nukunoa were fortunate enough to support a noho wānanga for some of the women who are staying at Te Whare Nukunoa. Many of the wahine that come into Te Whare Nukunoa are loving mothers and for varying reasons are not able to be with their children as much as they would love to.
So for some of the wahine and their children, we held a noho wānanga in Raumati - for māmā and their tamariki to have some quality time together in the school holidays. We stayed right by the beach so we had plenty of beach time, spa time, a trip to the pool, karaoke, arts and crafts, nails and make up and of course lots of good nourishing kai.
We were blessed with beautiful weather and beautiful people for this trip, one for all of our memory banks! Mauri Ora!
