Milly has 25+ years career as a strategic policy analyst working in both the public and private sectors at a national and regional level mainly with a core focus on better outcomes for Māori and Pacific. Milly brings experience in policy development, service delivery, strategic development, business planning, programme and framework design and developing capacity.

Why I Volunteer

I am a Wellingtonian born and bred with strong connections to my Tūhoe whakapapa. I come from a strong wāhine background on both my Tūhoe and Irish sides. I have seen many issues that systematically impact on wāhine Māori during my career. Volunteering is one way that I can contribute to better outcomes for wāhine Māori, if I can at least help one wāhine I have helped a whole whānau.
